Bullet/Numbered Lists copied from Asana do not paste into any other app

I use Asana for documentation I cut and paste into emails and documents, and make heavy use of bulleted and numbered lists in task descriptions (which I use like “notepads” in Basecamp).

When I copy those and paste them into emails, Word, etc, there are no bullets or numbers. They are indented, but the bullet symbols and numbered are stripped. This is very frustrating and destroys the whole point for me of storing this kind of documentation in Asana.

This is very annoying! I hope Asana fixes it as soon as possible. ;(

This is incredibly frustrating for me too - but I found a workaround! Annoying, but better than nothing.

First copy the list from Asana to a new email in Outlook, then highlight and remove the list formatting with outlook, then add it back. Now you should be able to copy from there into Word and elsewhere without any formatting issues.
