Guest email notifications and guest commenting

I’m wanting to use Asana to assign certain tasks to guests, but more so that members in the organisation can track who is doing what.

However, what I would like is for guests to be able to participate in commenting on their tasks without having to go into Asana itself. So I have two questions:

  1. Do guests get an email notification if a comment is posted on the task they are assigned to?
  2. If so, can they reply to that email in order to post their own comment on the task?

Yes, guests can reply directly via email and depending on their notification settings they’ll get an email notification if a comment is posted on a task they’re assigned to. I think you’ll find these resources helpful!
