If I keep typing within a sub-task a new line will be created to fit the text. Is there a way to force a line break?

@Getz_Pro there isn’t a way to force a line break at this point, but I’ll go ahead and move this idea to our product feedback category.

Out team use Asana heavily everyday, even every hour
and we definitely want this feature a lot
that will be a big help for all of our team members
We often typed tons of text in subtask due to our special workflow
but we can’t have line break in the easy way ( i.e. maybe use shortcut as shift + enter )
so, there’re always a huge chunk in subtask which is not easy to read
it’s really really really annoying for us

I consider this functionality to be essential. I found a hack to accomplish this but it’s time-consuming. Essentially copy and paste the following and erase the “|” characters, you’ll be left with a newline.

The very fact that this is possible means that it is in fact trivial to implement a shortcut key. The only alternative is to use the spacebar until you reach the new line which quickly causes you to run out of characters.
