I’d like to be able to set a total time budget for a project and track when it’s used up, as well as break this down into time spent on sections. Is this possible, and what time tracking apps have folks used to achieve it if so?

Do you track your time? . I also think you’ll find value in Asana’s reporting tools. Sounds like you’d benefit from using Dashboards and/or Advanced Search to get the granularity you’re looking for.
