It would be really good if we can have a quick button for TODAY on the due dates for tasks.
Why? because I would like to believe that we have all been in a situation where some tasks get over due or we navigate to select dates in the far future. And then when we need to bring it all back in line with our timeline. A quick today button on the calendar would be ideal! 
You can also remove the date and hit Tab+Y 
but yes good idea
