Guest permissions

Why do guests pop up as potential assignees in projects they don’t have access to? I have a number of guests (who are external clients). They are assigned only to the project that is relevant to their work. However, when I go to assign someone a task in a project for which I have not enabled them as a guest, their names still pop up. I had someone mistakenly assigned a task in a project that I had not added them to. Am I missing something?

Client reporting

Hi everybody, I’m new to Asana and want to fully integrate it in my company. From the development team to support and sales. For now i’m curious about how i can streamline my client reporting workflow. I see we can do some “status updates”, and my team + guest accounts (client) get an nice a-mail update. But what i really want, is to show my client the status of which tasks are done and which are open. Is there any way to do this in Asana? Or are there better ways to automate the client repo…

Hey there! I work as Project Manager to a Digital Marketing Agency (been working as one for almost 2 months now). I am fairly new to this role and my client would like to know how we can provide each task an estimated time to work. I am not entirely sure what to do with this as they vary everytime. There are times when we needed more leads to generate for example. How do you manage to do it? Do we have to do averaging? Any recommendations are very welcome!

Alexis, I’m trying to restrict guests from showing up as ‘auto-fill’ across the entire organization. I even tried removing one from the organization as a guest and they are still showing up. It looks like there was a thread a few years back and not sure if this is fixed Guest permissions

Did you really deprovision them from the admin console? Because if you did I am 99% sure that would hide them.
