How to integrate a tablet for an employee where tasks are assigned separate from preexisting and unrelated tasks?

I am looking to add a tablet to my account to optimize our maintenance program. We have many different pieces of equipment where simple maintenance tasks are performed by one of the operators, where we have more complex or critical maintenance tasks it is a dedicated mechanic who does the servicing.

My question is how do I set up a tablet on the same account to assign the simple day to day maintenance to the operator and keep the more complex monthly, quarterly and yearly maintenance tasks off of the tablet used by the operator?
