Reverse Sorting of multiple tasks added to another project

#1

Selecting multiple tasks and adding them to a new project will add them in reverse sorted order. This is unwanted (esp. if the tasks are sections [ending with “:”]). would be cool if it could be fixed.

This becomes more annoying when I move multiple sections and tasks like:

  • Section 1
    Task A
    Task B
    Task C
  • Section 2
    Task D
    Task E
    Task F

After moving/adding them to another project they become:

Task F
Task E
Task D

  • Section 2
    Task C
    Task B
    Task A
  • Section 1

There is actually a workaround for this, just select the items in reverse order and add/move them to another project. They will be added in the right order.

The reason for this is that Asana is adding the selected tasks to a queue as you select them and then starts moving/adding them one by one to the top of the new project. So to get things work as expected you have to select the last item first and Shift-Click the first one to select them all, and then add/move them to whatever project you wish.
