In our organization we use Asana for our Daily Log. This is great but I’d like to be able to create a structured form that can be submitted by the supervisor. Right now we get information but you have to read a through their ramblings. If we could create a form that forces them to put important information in the proper spot so that different managers can glean the important information and read through the details as needed, that would be great,
We (and Asana) use template tasks as forms, with very clear instructions.
If you really want to avoid being sticklers for following template instructions, then I would suggest using a google form or some other form integration where each field goes into a certain area of the task, etc.
